3rd Manav Rachna Corporate Tournament - Badminton & Table Tennis

Event Information 1. Competition Structure: The competition of Badminton and Table Tennis will be played in team format across three age categories viz. 25 to 35 years old, 36 to 45 years old and 45+ years old. Under each age category, the competition will be played in team format. The team may consist of both Men and Women. 1.1 Badminton Each Match of Badminton Team Competition will consist of the following 3 events and each event will be played across 3 sets of 21 points each. • 1 Single event • 1 Double event • 1 Mixed Double event 1.2 Number of Entries: A team can register a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 players with 1 player can play a maximum of 2 events only. 1.3 Table Tennis Each Match of TT Team Competition will consist of the following 3 events and each event will be played across 5 sets of 11 points each: • 1 Single event • 1 Double event • 1 Mixed Double event. 1.4 Number of Entries: A team can register a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 players with 1 player can play a maximum of 2 events only. 1.5 Multiple teams can register in all the 3 age categories. 2. Awards Prizes to the Winners and Runners-up and “Team of the Tournament”. 3. Media MRSA reserves the right to click photographs/videos throughout the tournament for promotion purposes. 4. Competition Venue: Manav Rachna Sports Academy, In Manav Rachna International School, Gate No. 3, Sector 14, Faridabad. 7. Entries Closing Date: 25th July, 2024 8. Entry Fees: 10,000/- (inclusive of all taxes) per team for each age category. Regulations Important Notice • All the matches will be played as per the BAI (Badminton Association of India) Rules & guideline . AS2 - Feather Shuttlecock • Manav Rachna Sports Academy reserves the right to cancel any event due to unavoidable circumstances. • The decision of the chief referee on all matters will be final & binding. • All participants are requested to gather at the venue on 3rd August, 2024, 9:00 AM sharp. • As proof of employment, participants should either produce an identity card or authentication from the Employers. For 25+, 35+ &; 45+ Age Categories Participants should produce a valid age proof. General Instructions • Player’s attire should consist of preferably T-Shirts and Shorts. • Players should strictly wear Sports Shoes with non-marking soles. • Lunch and Tea/Snacks will be provided to participants. • The Prize Distribution of the Team Events will happen on 4th August, 2024. • Exact timing will be notified later. • Entry Fees will have to be paid prior to the start of the Match Strictly. • All participants on arrival at the venue should report to the chief referee. • All participants are requested to report 30 minutes before the start of their match. A Walkover will be declared if the participant does not report within 30 minutes of the scheduled commencement time of the match.
