Flight To Freedom

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since the exhilarating experience of Ultimate Frisbee League. The league was a huge success and provided a platform for the Ultimate community to come together. Come this 14th of August, Delhi Ultimate will host yet another exciting Ultimate encounter: "Flight to Freedom". The "Flight to Freedom" tournament will follow a very new and exciting format. With pods of 3 players each, we'll try and combine new pods in each match to ensure that everyone gets to play with a new set of players. For people who are new to Ultimate: Ultimate is an exciting, non-contact team sport played by thousands all over the world in Open, Mixed and Women’s teams. It is a game between two teams whose players try to toss a Frisbee to one another until they cross the opponent's goal. Possession changes hands when the Frisbee is intercepted or touches the ground or goes out of bounds. Unique to the sport is the innate friendly dynamic between teammates and opposing teams which is also facilitated by the Spirit of the Game given that it is a self-regulated sport. This cordial spirit is at the core of the 'Ultimate' community, which embraces its comrades and welcomes newcomers with open arms.
