One Day Open Rapid Chess Tournament

Welcome to All India Balkan Ji Bari Organised One Day Open Rapid Chess Tournament To celebrate Completion of 100 years in association with Chess24x7 Total Prize fund of Rs 50,000 with the first placed finisher receiving Rs 10,000. 45 prizes will be distributed in total across categories. Rules and Regulations: - The tournament shall be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess under Swiss League System - Each player will have 15 minutes with an addition of 3 seconds per move starting from move number one - If a player has Rapid rating then only the rapid rating will be considered for the prizes else classical rating will be considered Tie- Break: The following tie-break will be applied (in the order given) to determine the final rankings: 1. Buchholz Cut 1 2. Buchholz 3. Sonneborn Berger 4. Direct Encounter 5. Greater Number of Victories
