Team Registration

1. All players of each team must be permanent employees of the same company/organisation. Team list to be verified through an official email.

2. All players need to carry Employee ID card for verification purpose. 

3. Proper football attire is necessary for each player. If the organisers feel a player is not properly dressed, he/she will not be allowed to play. 

4. We highly recommend wearing shin guards as protection to prevent injury. Playing barefoot is not allowed.

5. If a player plays for more than 1 team, that player will be disqualified for the entire tournament and both teams involved will be deducted 2 points each or disqualified if its knockout stage.

6. There will be rolling substitutes and a squad can have maximum 10 players. A player can only enter the field of play once the player being substituted has left the field of play. No player is allowed to enter without team jersey.

7. The minimum squad size is 6 and the maximum squad size is 10. Minimum 5 players are required to play a game. If a team has less than 5 players they will forfeit the same and the other team will win the game 3-0.

8. If a team fails to reach the field of play latest by 5 minutes after their scheduled kick-off time, they will forfeit the match and the opposing team will win 3-0.

9. Teams will be divided into groups. Top 8 teams will qualify for the Gold Cup, following 8 will qualify for the Shield. Both these will be knock out stages.

10. In case of a draw during the group stage, both teams will earn one point each. A win in regulation time during the group stage will earn the team three points and the losing team zero points. If two teams are tied on points the tiebreaker will be GD, GF and GA. If all three are equal there will be a penalty shootout between the teams.

11. During the knockout stage, if a game is drawn at the end of regulation time, there will be a penalty shootout with each team getting 3 penalty kicks. If after 3 penalties, it is still a draw then each team will take one penalty each till the winner is decided.

12. A yellow card means a player will be out for 5 minutes and a red card would mean player will be out for10 minutes. The team will play with 1 player short.
13. The referee’s authority and decisions are final. There is no off-side.

14. The rules are subject to change without further notice. They will be displayed at the venue on the day of the event and it is every team’s responsibility to read the rules and abide by them.
