The Jaipur Cup - Padel Edition

TEAM COMPOSITION • 3 players per team • Minimum 1 Beginner player mandatory in every team • Remaining players may be Beginners or Intermediate players PLAYER CATEGORIES Beginner: 1–3 months of playing experience. Intermediate: 3–18 months of playing experience and may have participated in 1–2 city tournaments. GROUP STAGE • 10 teams divided into 2 groups of 5 teams each • Round-robin format — each team plays every other team in its group • Each tie consists of 2 doubles matches with mandatory player rotation • All matches are played as a single set to 6 games • Standard padel scoring applies with a deciding point at deuce (Golden Point) • At 6–6, a tiebreak to 7 points (win by 2) will be played STANDINGS Teams will be ranked based on: 1. Standings points 2. Individual match wins 3. Game difference 4. Head-to-head result 5. Referee decision POINTS SYSTEM • Tie Win (2–0): 2 points • Tie Draw (1–1): 1 point each • Tie Loss (0–2): 0 points KNOCKOUT STAGE • Top teams from each group advance to the knockout rounds • Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals follow a single-elimination format • If a tie ends 1–1, a Super Tiebreak to 10 points (win by 2) will determine the winner OFFICIATING • Matches are self-officiated • Tournament supervisors will resolve disputes, and all decisions will be final
